Same thing with Elvis (nice segue), when we think of Elvis, we think of Fat Jumpsuit Elvis, not sexy hip swinging leather jacket Elvis, and that my friends is a tragedy.
This is why I feel that 2Pac dying so young was actually a good thing for his legacy, he didn't get a chance to mess it up! Pac is routinely referenced, paid homage to, and cited as one of the greatest m.c's of all time, despite the fact that he was an average rapper at best. However, dying at the height of his relevance and popularity has ensured that the general populace has fond memories of him, whether or not they're accurate is a completely different matter. If he were still alive today, would he be considered so relevant? Maybe. But look at two of his peers, Ice Cube and LL Cool J, formerly two of the biggest names in hip hop who are now best known for making sub par movies. In all fairness though, Ice Cube has managed to bounce back musically with Raw Footage, and he was really good in The Longshots, I highly reccomend it. LL Cool J has got nothin' though.

Everyone knows that George Clooney is Hollywood's most eligible bachelor and has to date been successful in remaining in his bachelor state, but did you also know he is resolutely childfree? Here are some quotes from Clooney on being childfree:
